Golf Course Management Tips

Save Shots By Making Smart Choices On The Course

The golf course management tips in this section will help you to make better decisions on the golf course.

If you have ever felt that you are hitting the ball better during your practice sessions, but you aren’t converting it into better scores on the golf course, you might want to consider working on your course management skills…

I’m sure every golfer is familiar with the concept of course management, but maybe not so familiar with just how important it can be to your scores.

So please endeavour to improve this aspect of your game – it can save you handfuls of shots every round. But bear in mind that, as with any other golf skill you work on, it will take time to see the benefits of your learning and practice.I’m confident that if I caddied for any club-level player I could save them at least three shots per round (if not more) not by changing their swing or technique, but by changing their strategy, club and shot selection.

Here’s a good rule of thumb to start with: Always focus on hitting the shots that you “know” you are capable of hitting and avoid hitting the shots that you “think” you should hit.
